Alicia Doherty is the Chief Operations Officer for BLH Technologies, Inc., in Rockville, Maryland. She is responsible for business development, partnership building, staff recruitment, and the strategic planning and implementation of communications programs and products. She has more than 30 years of experience working under contract to various Federal agencies focused on national and global public health. Ms. Doherty has directed public relations, media advocacy, exhibit management, publication development, and scientific meeting management projects for most agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, as well as other government sectors.
Ms. Doherty has volunteered her time to the Montgomery County Family Justice Center since its founding. She is also an active member of Rotary International through the Potomac Rotary Club. Previously, Ms. Doherty served as a hospice volunteer for Holy Cross Health for nine years. She resides primarily in Bethesda, Maryland, and also in Fenwick Island, Delaware.
